FAQ

  • Q: How fast can I receive funding after submitting an invoice?

A: Once your account is set up, you can typically receive an advance on your invoices within 2 to 24 hours after the invoice is verified with the broker or shipper. Our process is built for the speed the trucking industry demands.

  • Q: How is freight factoring different from a bank loan?

A: Factoring is the sale of an asset (your invoice/Accounts Receivable) for immediate cash. It is not debt. A loan is borrowing money that you must repay. Factoring with Aureus Capital does not add liability to your balance sheet.

  • Q: How much does factoring cost? Are there hidden fees?

A: Our rates are competitive and transparent, based primarily on the volume you factor and the credit risk of your clients. We pride ourselves on having no hidden fees. We cover the costs of collections and credit checks in our agreed-upon rate.

  • Q: Do you check the credit of the brokers and shippers I work with?

A: Absolutely. As part of our partnership, we provide free, unlimited credit checks on your potential brokers and shippers. We help you choose reliable loads and mitigate your financial risk before you even haul the freight.

  • Q: Will factoring interfere with my relationship with the broker/shipper?

A: No. We handle the payment process professionally and discreetly. Your customers are notified that payments should be remitted to Aureus Capital (the buyer of the invoice), but your operational relationship with them remains unchanged. Our goal is to simply manage the cash flow, not the logistics.

  • Q: Are there any monthly minimums or volume quotas I must meet?

A: We pride ourselves on flexibility. Unlike many traditional banks or lenders, Aureus Capital does not enforce strict monthly minimums or volume quotas. We want to scale with your business, allowing you to factor only what you need, when you need it.
